God is holy

• God is holy, without sin and perfect in every
  way.
• His holiness demands our holiness.
• Without perfect holiness we cannot be with God.
• Leviticus 192 says, Be holy as the Lord your
  God is holy.

GOD
We are falling short of the standards of a holy
God.

We are sinners

• Every person is alienated from God because of
  sin.
• Romans 323 says, For all have sinned and fall
  short of the glory of God.
• Left to ourselves we are selfish and prone to do
  evil.

We cannot earn our way back to God

• We attempt to earn Gods approval.
• They are not good enough to reach the other side.

Our Status

• Separated from God
• In the Kingdom of Darkness
• A Sinner
• Under the Power of Sin
• Condemned to death

Spiritual death and hell
Romans 623 says, For the wages of sin is
death. Our sin will forever separate us from
God.

God reached back to us

• God made it possible for us to be with Him. He
  sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the
  cross for our sins.
• Since Jesus was holy, God was pleased with His
  taking our place. Thus, a way has been made for
  us to be holy.
• 2 Corinthians 521 says, God made Him who had no
  sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might
  become the righteousness of God.

We must repent and put ourtrust in Jesus to save
us fromsin and hell.

• Romans 109 says, If you confess with your
  mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart
  that God raised him from the dead, you will be
  saved.
• It is simple. It is a free gift of God.
• We must just believe and receive it.

Lord Jesus, I need you. Thank you for dying on
the Cross for my sins. I acknowledge that I have
greatly sinned against you. Please forgive all my
sins. I now open the door of my heart and accept
you as my Lord and my Savior. Thank you for your
gift of eternal life, which I now also receive.
Please reign on the throne of my life. Please
make me the kind of person you want me to be.
Amen.
