Motivation
  • ZigBee is suitable for ubiquitous network
    environment as
  • Low Power
  • Low Rate
  • (Ex. Home network, u-healthcare and silver-care)
  • However, ZigBee technology does not deal with the
    following issues
  • PAN mobility
  • Interoperability with other ZigBee networks
  • Mobility and Interoperability is quite important
    considering application characteristics of
    ubiquitous networks (e.g. A person can move from
    one network to another)
