Title: Doing the Right Thing

1
Doing the Right Thing
  • Tuck Everlasting
  • Moral Dilemmas

2
Think About It
  • --Have you ever had to make a difficult choice?
  • --If you thought you had a good reason for
breaking a rule, would you break it?

3
Hard Decisions
  • Is It Cheating?
  • Your best friend wont be able to play
basketball after school if she doesnt have her
English homework. You know she did it, but she
left it at home and theres no one she can call
to bring it to school. Your basketball teams
performance will surely suffer if your friend
cant play. Should you let her copy your
    homework?

4
Hard Decisions
  • What Should You Do?
  • Your mother has been telling you for a month
that she is planning a special surprise for your
12th birthday party. You find out the day before
that she has hired a clown, and youre sure your
friends will think thats too babyish and will
laugh at you. Do you ask your mother to cancel
the clown or tell her its a great idea?

5

    of you.
  • Stage 4 Conformity to authority avoids censure
    and guilt.
