NL-Grid

• National infrastructure
• Clusters at Nikhef,Sara and RuG
• Currently about 400 cpus
• Lisa cluster Sara (1500 cpus) also available
• Special bioinformatics clusters to be installed
  at several sites
• DAS-3 research clusters

• Storage coupled to clusters at Nikhef and SARA
• Several Terabytes
• Tape storage at SARA coupled to grid
• Disk pool in front
• Tape storage coupled via SAN
• Multiple petabytes and growing!
• In near future all storage will support the
  Storage Resource Management (SRM) interface
• San Diego Storage Resource Broker (SRB) also
  available at Sara
