INMATE TRACKING SYSTEM PROJECT
ENVISAGED FUNCTIONALITY OPERATION
  • Ensure efficient, effective admissions and
    releases.
  • Automate the verification of the prisoners
    identity.
  • Interoperable with Admission, Detention Release
    System (AR).

    functionality.
  • Fingerprint biometric electronic capturing
    ability and functionality.
  • Personal Tracking Devices attached to person.
  • Transceiver Units permanently located throughout
    facility.
  • Mobile Transceiver Units utilised for additional
    areas.

INMATE TRACKING SYSTEM PROJECT
ENVISAGED FUNCTIONALITY OPERATION Continued
  • Personal Tracking Devices actively transmit
prisoners data and location to Transceiver
    Units.
  • Transceiver Units collect and communicate data to
    control system.
  • Control system depicts graphical representation
    of facility.
  • Prisoner query - produces view of exact location,
as well as prisoners digital data, photo image,
    fingerprints, etc.
  • Mobile Transceiver Units store data collected
from Personal Tracking Device, for later download
    to control system.
  • Control system interoperates with Admission,
    Detention Release system (AR), retrieving
    prisoner details, and updating records,
    reporting, etc.
  • System alerts on events of tampering and
    unauthorised movements.
  • System records history of all Personal Tracking
Devices and identifies last known status of
    failure
