Life Cycle
  • Grizzly bear cubs are born in a cave or a den.
  • To create a bed parents pull in branches, sticks
    and grass.
  • Grizzly cubs are born in late January.
  • Usually they have 2-3 cubs at time.
  • Female bears are hibernating when the cubs are
    born.
  • The cubs stay with their moms till they are 3
    years old.
  • The cubs leave their territories and begin their
    lives as an adult when they are 7.
