What is Credit Recovery?
  • Offers courses delivered in half-credit segments
  • Provides credit recovery for students who have
    not been successful in an academic course
  • Offers On-line curriculum
  • with individualized instruction, intervention and
    remediation

Who qualifies for Credit Recovery?
  • Any student within the Six District Educational
    Compact for the first year.
  • Any student who has failed a one-half credit-
    based portion of an academic course and who
    wishes to retake coursework for credit.

How do I register?
  • Registration and orientation on Tuesdays only,
    230 to 530 p.m.
  • Must register on site at Schnee Learning Center
  • Return the following forms prior to starting
    course
  • Student transcript
  • Signed Intent to Participate Form from
    principal/counselor at high school
  • Emergency Medical Form
  • Signed Code of Conduct signature page
  • 95 payment

How much does it cost?
  • 95 per course
  • Refunds
  • Full if withdrawn prior to the start of class
  • 50 if withdrawn after the first day of class
  • None after the second day of class

When and how do I attend?
  • First session November 4, 2008
  • Tutoring/selective testing in Room 141
  • Tuesday 230 to 530
  • Thursday 315 to 530
  • Courses must be completed in six weeks or less
  • Work online from a remote site
  • Computers with high-speed internet access

What happens when I finish?
  • Certificate of Completion
  • Issued by Schnee
  • Once course requirements met
  • Certificate with Schnees official seal
    presented to the principal/counselor at his/her
    high school
  • District schools counselor is responsible to
    record credit on transcript
