  • Grad Winter Formal Dec. 9th
  • Grad Banquet June 5th
  • Ceremony June 25th at Trinity Baptist Church
    (gown pickup on June 24th)
  • Grad Website up and running in 2 weeks

Dry Grad (a parent sponsored event)
  • Not a school sponsored event
  • Planned and hosted by a dry grad committee made
    up of interested parents
  • Usually held after grad ceremonies
  • More information as it becomes available from the
    committee

Participation in Grad Ceremony Policy
  • To participate in the ceremony, students must
    meet four important criteria
  • Be in an academic position to graduate

2. Have completed their MAP requirements
3. Have cleared all financial obligations with
the school
4. Be in good standing with the school

Career Mentorship Program
Avenues of Support
  • Students will be mentored by a person who is
    currently working in their field of interest
  • 2 luncheons with the mentor are scheduled
    throughout the year (Nov. 27th Apr. 16th)
  • Completion of 2 full day Job Shadows
  • Upon completion of the program students will
    receive a letter of recommendation from the
    school principal
  • Must sign up for the program in the Career Center
    by September 30, 2009

Grad Transitions (M.A.P)
When December 9th May 12th Purpose To help
students have a successful first year out of high
school Who All grade 12 students must complete
and present a plan to graduate What Your plans
for next year? Budget? Goals? Travel?
Post-secondary? Work? 15 minute interview
How We will work with the students in their Eng
class to complete their M. A. P. Plan and
prepare for the interview. Students will present
their plan the semester they have English 12 or
Communications 12 in their schedule Remember to
keep recording your 150 minutes of DPA
