Evaluate Progress and Update Plan
- Evaluation is key because it helps you to know if
your wellness policy is working. As you review
your data, consider these questions - Did the wellness policy yield the expected
results? - What changes can be made to improve results?
- What policy items should we take on next?

- Decide on plan adjustments and policy additions
for next year (refer back to step 1.4b).

Report Progress
An annual report is a great way to document your
teams work, highlight successes and outline your
districts future wellness policy goals. Use
this report as a tool for gaining continued
support for wellness efforts from your
colleagues, school administrators, school board,
and community.

Celebrate Success and Re-energize!
Taking your wellness policy from paper to
practice can be a slow process. Keep your team
motivated by celebrating successes (even small
steps!) and recognizing those who are active
participants. Use the celebration to revisit
where you have been, and re-energize your
district for where you are going!
