How can you improve yourLISTENING SKILLS?

• 1. Set your mind to listen.
• 2. Keep your mind active by taking notes.
• 3. Resist distractions (physical, emotional,
  mental)
• 4. Involve yourself - think of examples.
• 5. Listen carefully to the introduction and
  conclusion.

• 6. Pay attention to speaker cues (voice,
  physical motions, rate of speech)
• 7. Listen to class discussions.
