In Conflict Situations
  • They are helpful where there may be strong
    differences of opinion
  • Forces you to listen to an opposing point of view
    in order to understand it
  • In rebuttal you will be addressing the real issue
    and not some other topic
  • Gain a better hearing for your ideas if you have
    demonstrated willingness and ability to listen
    for understanding to your adversary
