Modernization Program (I3MP) Mission
Acquire and field the Armys installation level
telecommunications information infrastructure
(voice data switches/cable/long haul gateway),
including the hardware and software required for
Enterprise Solutions. Provide base level
information infrastructure at Army posts, camps,
and stations worldwide via the Installation
Information Infrastructure Modernization Program
(I3MP). Provide the LandWarNet backbone in
support of Reachback, Global Information Grid
(GIG), GIG Bandwidth Expansion (GIG-BE), and
NetCentricity.
