Goals

• This course will enable students to develop and
  design web pages using Hypertext Markup Language,
  and Microsoft FrontPage 2002.
• This course will prepare students for publishing,
  presenting, and effectively evaluating web pages
  for e-Commerce applications.

Objective

• Students will program HTML documents using
  defined formatting characteristics, and
  containing lists, images, tables hyperlinks,
  forms, and metadata.

Objective

• Each student will design a personal web page
  using FrontPage 2002, and make an oral
  presentation of their design.
• Each student will publish their web page to
  demonstrate their ability to function in a
  networked environment.

• Students will learn to implement an effective web
  site for e-Commerce applications by analyzing a
  commercial web site, and submitting a written
  assignment evaluating its consumer
  user-friendliness.

• Goal for Spring 2004 To reduce the percentage of
  students receiving an F in CIS 114 by at least
  2. (This should increase the overall assessment
  percentage for each objective due to the fact
  that several students do not come to class, turn
  in assignments, nor do they take exams. We have
  reported them to the e-warning system and
  contacted their advisor but they continue to
  remain enrolled in the course and ultimately fail
  the course.)
