    public and the legislators could not ignore the
    issue, and actions were taken by businesses,
    interests, and legislators.
  • A four piece legislation have been discussed in
    Congress
  • The Human Cloning Act of 1998
  • The Human Cloning Prohibition Acts of 2001 2002
    and 2003.

  • Three groups are involved in the cloning debate
  • Group stating that cloning should be illegal
  • Group stating that reproductive cloning should be
    spanned, but allowing it for scientific research
