Farmington Youth Basketball AssociationPre-Season
Parent MeetingWednesday, September 9th
Welcome Tiger Basketball Fans to the 2009-2010
Travel Season!

Who is the FYBA?
  • The Farmington Youth Basketball Association
    (FYBA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
established to provide an opportunity for girls
and boys to play the game of basketball.
  • We have two primary purposes
  • The first is to provide an opportunity for boys
and girls to play the game of basketball, with
emphasis on sportsmanship and teamwork, in an
atmosphere that is positive and constructive for
    the children.
  • The second purpose is to provide players the
opportunity to play against a higher level of
competition. FYBA is to develop the players to
the best of our ability and get them ready to
complete at the next highest level.
  • We rely on the involvement of volunteers to help
    us be successful!

    tournament NOT a game.

    time
  • 7th grade provides for a minimum of 40 playing
    time
  • 8th grade provides for a minimum of 35 playing
    time.
  • If a player does NOT do their part, then the
coach may deviate from policy and communicate to
    player parents why.
  • Coach has flexibility at end of close games

10
Player Skills Development
  • This organization is committed to
