Once three disciples of the Greek philosopher
Socrates sought advice on how to choose a best
partner. Socrates did not give a direct answer,
but took them into wheat fields. While walking in
wheat fields, each disciple chose one big
wheatear.

The first disciple plucked a wheatear he thought
was the biggest, but he searched again and
finally found a much bigger one.
The second disciple looked around, searched and
reached the end-point of fields and realized that
he missed several big wheatears.

The third disciple observed and got some
experience from the other two. Walking the first
one-third distance of the fields, he
differentiated the big, medium and small sized
wheatears. Then he walked the second one-third
distance verifying and validating his judgment.
Walking the remaining one-third distance, he
chose a larger and beautiful one the best
wheatear.

So, this story says that the best choice can be
made with right sense, courage and resolute
discovery after verified and validated
