Metamorphosis
  • All insects change in form as they grow. This
    process is called metamorphosis.
  • There are two kinds of metamorphosis incomplete
    and complete.
  • Incomplete--no prolonged immobile (pupal) state.
  • Complete--four distinct stages-egg, larva, pupa,
    and adult.
