Early Life

• She was born in 1827.Her parents were Manuel
  Sause and Terista Sandoval.She also had three
  brothers and sisters and their names were
  Cruzita,Jose,Rufina.In 1821,her hometown began to
  change when the Santa Fe trail opened.

Major Acomplishments

• She met 5 famous coloradans. She wed George
  Simpson when she was 14 years old. In 1844, they
  moved to Taos to be wed. There their daughter
  Isabel was babtized.

Other interesting imformation

• She was a person who got things done. She also
  had a very sharp mind. Juana loved her mother
  Terista Sandoval very much. She had respect for
  all who knew her. One of the things she did in
  her life was she was helped Trinidad build a
  new, larger school.

Summary

• I think she is an important because of the things
  she has done for America. She has been a blessing
  to all. And helped us through hard times. She
  died in 1916.
