- DMOC Northrop/Grumman CCD already implements DIS
J - Would experiment with DIS J at DMOC, and other
sites if they have CCDs or native implementation - Will test and validate new standard, and confirm
standard is technically sound, or provide feed
back for changes to the standard

- Test Procedure
- All Simulators on DIS AIR LAN will use TACCSF J
Signal PDU. Other TADIL J formats (Serial,
Socket) will be sent to CCD on Air LAN - All Simulators on DMOC Ground LAN will use DIS J
Signal PDU - Fidelity Level 1 will only be used
- DMOC OM/SRI will run at Fidelity Level 3 to test
Fidelity Interoperability - All DIS J Signal PDUs will be recorded for
analysis at a later time - If experiment does not work
- Can reconfigure network in minimal amount of
time.

- Test Results
- Northrop/Grumman Support at DMOC was not
possible, due to conflicting schedules - No External Sites participated in Experiment due
to JEFX 04 Network issues - Conducted DMOC Only Experiment
- AWACS Simulator on DIS AIR LAN used TACCSF J
Signal PDU to send Link 16 Data to CCD. - CCD on Air LAN sent DIS J to CCD on Ground LAN
at Fidelity Level 1

- DMOC OM/SRI was run at Fidelity Level 3, Sent
Link 16 Data to CCD on Air LAN at Fidelity level
3 - All DIS J Signal PDUs were recorded on the DMOC
DISNAT Logger for analysis - Experiment was Partial Success
- Achieved NTR with AWACS at Fidelity Level 1
- Transmitter and Signal PDUs analyzed showed some
incorrect data in required fields

- It could not be determined at the time if the
DISNAT Logger had incorrect DIS J Signal and
Transmitter PDU Template, or if the CCD was
sending incorrect data - Record files will be analyzed further by
Northrop/Grumman Software Engineers - Additional Tests
