About His Works
  • Nietzsche was a primarily a philosopher, but he
also wrote many books and essays on his thoughts.
One of his most controversial books was The
Antichrist, which was against Christianity, in
which Nietzsche called it the one immortal
blemish upon the human race. Some of his books
such as The Gay Science had poetry, and yet
others criticized public figures such as Richard
Wagner, his former friend. Thus Spoke Zarathustra
is about Zoroaster, a prophet and the creator of
Zoroastrianism. Ecce Homo was his autobiography.
