• Your practice is reviewing patients prescribed
  enteric coated aspirin preparations. These
  include
• Enteric coated aspirin
• Nuseal aspirin
• Caprin
• Post MI EC
• The enteric coating on aspirin has not been shown
  to protect the stomach from the effects of
  aspirin
• Dispersible aspirin 75mg is recommended instead
  of enteric coated aspirin
• Your medication may be changed on your next
  prescription
• You should dissolve the new tablet in water and
  take it with or after food.
