Junior Investigator Program

• Criteria

• Doctorate (including all terminal degrees)
  received within 7 years
• Part of institution with 501(C)3 Status
• Proven evidence of research skills
• No previous funding relationship with RWJF

• Production of a Peer-Reviewed Article.

Senior Consultant Program

• Criteria

• Proven expertise and/or research skills
• Familiarity with Team issue areas
• No previous funding relationship with RWJF
  (except RWJF Fellows)

Scope of Activities

• Research synthesis/Tools development.
• Policy analysis with policy recommendations.
• Exploration of new topic areas to advance team
  programming and strategy.
• Case studies or qualitative assessments

• exploring ways to attract, develop and retain a
  capable and diverse health care workforce to
  improve the health and health care of all
  Americans.

  care workforce and increase knowledge of the
  cost/benefits of employee development.

• exploring the barriers to health coverage and
  cultural indicators that may explain higher
  un-insurance rates among African Americans and
  Latinos.
• impact of take-up rates of coverage alternatives
  like Health Saving Accounts.

Childhood Obesity

• increase the access of healthy foods in low
  income neighborhoods.
• explore successful policies and financing
  mechanisms that yield an increase to healthy
  eating in schools serving primarily low-income

  decrease the threat of violence of the built

  evidence-based treatment approaches
• demonstrating ways and benefits of improving
  addiction care in treatment agencies
