Plan

• Pretend this is your diary
• What are you going to do and why?
• Say something about the population as a whole
  (the hypothesis)
• Say something about one section of the population
  (sub-hypothesis)
• How are you going to see if these are true?

• Choose an appropriate sample size
• How will you make it a fair sample?

• Mean, Median, Mode, Range (very basic!)
• Mean/Median of Grouped Frequency
• Quartiles, Percentiles, IQR, Cum. Freq.

• Why are they useful? Or reliable?
