Theodore Suess Geisel was his actual name. He was
born on March 2, 1904. He was born in
Springfield, Massachusetts. He was a German
immigrant.

His Pseudonyms (fake names) were Dr. Seuss and
Theo LeSeig . He wrote his childrens books with
this name as the author. Some of his books were
The Foot Book, The Cat In The Hat, Green Eggs and
Ham, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, and The
Sleep Book. He wrote 54 books.
