(Psalm 10315-16) As for man, his days are like
grass, he flourishes like a flower of the field
the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its
place remembers it no more.
(Ecclesiastes 216-17) For the wise man, like
the fool, will not be long remembered in days to
come both will be forgotten
(Ecclesiastes 216-17)Like the fool, the wise
man too must die!
(Ecclesiastes 216-17) All of it is meaningless,
a chasing after the wind.
The deepest crisis in the search for identity
lies in the very real possibility that we may
never be able to answer fully the question, Who
am I?
Yet, the struggle to know ourselves often ends
with the nagging suspicion that were no deeper
than our own imagination, and no newer than our
own history.
  • As human beings, we seem so stuck in our endless
struggle with attempting to know ourselves, to
discover ourselves, or even to reinvent ourselves

The Bible tells us that the only way we may be
able to live fully is if
or worse, that we may finally find out who we
really are and truly dislike what we discover in
the end.
To be risen with Christ is to no longer be
charmed by the things of this world.
To set our minds on things above is to change the
focus of how we think

The Crisis
So
Christ who is your life is to live
of
Christ
we d e to ourselves
a life where Christ is not just an add-on but
front-and-center
It is by only this that we can take refuge in
His protection against the trickery and cunning
of this worlds schemes.
Do you trust Him enough to hide in Him?
It is a heart set on things above so that the
things of God matter far more than anything else

A Life with Christ
(Romans 62, 7) that our body of sin might be
done away with, that we should no longer be
slaves to sin for he who has died is freed from
sin.
(Romans 62, 7) How shall we who died to sin
still live in it? Knowing this, that our old
self was crucified with Him
(Colossians 31-4) Since, then, you have been
raised with Christ, set your hearts on things
above, where Christ is seated at the right hand
of God
(Colossians 31-4) Set your minds on things
above, not on earthly things. For you died, and
your life is now hidden with Christ in God
YOUR l fe?
(Colossians 31-4) When Christ, who is your
life, appears, then you also will appear with Him
in glory.
That is the heart of the Victorious life
