Tools to link training to organisational
development
  • The final piece in the jigsaw are tools developed
to manage change, and link training to
    organisational development
  • For primary care, we have GPIMM
  • For the acute sector, we have HIMM
  • (And HER)

16
First audit your organisation
  • Audit your organisation against out five layer
    process model

17
Then let GPIMM analyse it
  • GPIMM will tell you where you are
  • And more importantly, what you need to do next..

18
Next appraise your staff
  • GPIMM defines staff proficiency using a novice to
expert model, which measures how well you do
    something
  • It defines what you need to know according to how
    mature your organisation is

19
And define the training needs
  • GPIMM will identify competency areas where more
    training is needed,
  • And can be used to identify courses that will
    meet them
  • And in our latest application of this technology,
will link to elearning to meet the needs.

20
E learning to meet the need
