Admission Requirements
  • Slightly lower than degree in view of the
    practical nature of the course.
  • 130 points with 100 from at least one Advanced
    GCE/VCE
  • 30 points may come from key skills.
  • GCSE mathematics is required but an equivalent
    level may be reached via a Staffordshire
    University Summer School course.

  • Flexible entry requirements i.e. not all
    examination based opens up the course to mature
    students
  • Age range of 18 to 76!
  • Over 60 considered mature i.e. over 21.
  • Mix of experience makes for interesting and
    helpful tutorial discussion.
