What are cows?

• Cows are mammals.
• They say moo.
• They can be brown, black, white, or spotted.
• They eat grass and have 2 stomachs.
• They give us our milk which gives us dairy
  products (cheese, butter, yogurt).
• Babies are called calves.

• They say neigh.
• They can be black, brown, white, gray, spotted,
  and more.
• They eat hay.
• We can ride them for fun or to work on the farm.
• Boy babies are called colts and girl babies are
  called foals.

• Pigs are mammals.
• They say oink, oink, oink.
• They can be pink, brown, black, white, gray, or
  speckled.
• They eat slop (food scraps) and feed.
• They like to roll in the mud to cool off on hot
  days.
• Baby pigs are called piglets.

• They can be black, white, tan, or spotted.
• They eat grass and plants.
• Their fur is very thick and makes wool.
• Baby sheep are called lambs.

• They lay eggs that we can eat.
