  • MANDATE
  • To describe the current models of French
    Immersion delivery in the Beausejour and
    Springfield areas.
  • To examine the implications, advantages and
    disadvantages of each delivery model.
  • To provide opportunities for public consultations
  • To identify potential alternatives for the
    delivery of French Immersion in the
    Beasejour/Springfield area.
  • To make recommendations on the future delivery of
    French Immersion Programs with consideration
    given to legislative requirements, financial
    implications, identifiable impacts and community
    needs.
  • Complete its task and report to the Board of
    Trustees prior to the end of December 2009.

KINDERGARTEN PROGRAMMING
  • 100 Francais Instruction
  • The childs instruction at school is in French,
    however the emotional well-being of the child is
    always considered. In the event of critical
    situations, trauma, accidents or any serious
    disruption of the childs normal activities, the
    teacher will not hesitate to communicate with the
    child in English. (from A Curriculum Policy for
    French-Language Immersion Education
  • Entry in the French Immersion Program can be done
    at Kindergarten and Grade One .
