PCP

• Its a white crystalline powder it can be found
  in tablet, liquid, or powder form.
• PCP can be ingested into the body by taking it
  orally, or smoked.
• PCP is classified as a hallucinogen.

How it's used

• It has a distinctive bitter chemical taste.
• PCP can be mixed easily with dyes and turns up on
  the illicit drug market in a variety of tablets,
  capsules, and colored powders. It is normally
  snorted, smoked, or ingested.
• For smoking, PCP is often applied as a liquid to
  a leafy material such as mint, parsley, oregano,
  or marijuana.
• Depending upon how much and by what route PCP is
  taken, its effects can last approximately 46
  hours.

  glutamate receptor in the brain

  again. The brain will want more of the drug
  despite the fact that PCP can lead to death.

• PCP used to be used as an anesthetic, but when
  its effects on people were that of addiction,
  hallucination agitated, delusional, and
  irrational while recovering from its anesthetic
  effects, its use was discontinued.

• PCP is usually considered one of the ultimate
  drugs because its effects are better than those
  of heroine and cocaine.

• Most PCP users get help in the ER because of
  overdose.
• There is currently no medical treatment for
  damages caused by use.
