2ES Transformation
- The transformed Employment Services service
provider network in Ontario will be comprised of
organizations that have demonstrated capability
and experience in delivering employment services
and that are effective and responsible working
with their respective communities in support of
the EO promise. - One element the Ministry has utilized to assess
service providers capacity to deliver Employment
Services was a survey that was released on
October 8th and completed and returned to
Regional Offices on October 29th.

ES available (in at least 25 of future
service delivery network)
ES fully implemented
Regional offices work with recipients of the
business plan which will be the basis for a
new contract for April 2009.
Regional EO offices review the surveys, validate
information, and develop regional transition
plans to roll-up the analysis/ recommendations
for future service delivery network.
Business plans provided to service providers who
are selected to begin ES delivery as part of the
first wave of 25.

4The Capacity Survey
- Regional Directors emailed the capacity survey
package to each OEAS, JC and - OTWS-CCM service provider for MTCU defined
communities. The package - included a covering letter, survey with
instructions, and standard Qs and As. - The package was posted to the Employment Ontario
Parners Gateway (EOPG). - The survey collected information on an
organizations - Business profile
- Capacity to delivery the new Employment Services
- Overall organizational capacity
- Additional resources/value-add that they may
bring to the EO network. - Regional EO offices are currently reviewing the
surveys, validating - information, and develop regional transition
plans to roll-up the - analysis/recommendations for future service
delivery network.

6Next Steps
- Regional offices are continuing to assess
surveys. - Community Footprint, Community Profile and
finally Community Service Plan templates will be
completed by the Regions. - Employment Ontario service providers will be
contacted in January/February 2009. - MTCU staff will work with selected service
providers to develop business plans for new
contracts to begin in April 2009.
