The Hitchhikers Guide to the Interface Advanced
Medline for Dialog
  • Date Monday 22nd January 2007
  • Venue
  • Allerton Library, University of Salford
  • Course Description
  • This well-established course from the Information

and the requirements to support evidence based
healthcare. The course starts by exploring
features of MEDLINE that are typically underused
or unknown before tackling some common issues and
problems. The afternoon session turns the
attention towards use of MEDLINE features for
    answering clinical questions with practical
exercises regarding clinical questions and the
    use of filters.
  • Course Requirements

working knowledge and experience of MEDLINE
  • Trainers Andrew Booth and Claire Beecroft
