- Aims
- To provide students with grounded theory and
practice through which they - will be able to fulfil mediating and promoting
roles in health promotion and recreation - will contribute to the establishment of healthy
life-style, to health promotion, to the
development, condition founding and correction of
recreation- and mental health culture in families
and in social health, social, educational
institutes, civil services.

- Work and carry out health promoting projects
- Perform health promoting and recreation basic
activities - Participate in the exploration of social problems
endangering health and of health promotion-mental
health promotion tasks appearing in disadvantaged
social groups. - Acquire enough theoretical knowledge to continue
their education in the second cycle.

- the basic physical and mental operation of the
healthy human body and the health damaging
factors resulting from improper life-style - the possibilities and methods of promoting health
and the life-style - the methods and techniques of recreation
- the methods of organisational development and
project management - the basic rules of safety accident prevention
and first aid.

- develop the conditions of health promotion,
recreation- and mental health promotion culture
in the health care, social and educational
institutes, and civil organisations - work out health promoting, recreation projects
- carry out health promoting, recreation and
life-style programmes in practice
