• Compare HTML to XML within a web browser
• software is IE 5.5 only (would work in IE 5.1 or
  higher)
• note similar response time but XML was translated
  into HTML via style sheet
• normally, style sheet would be downloaded from
  the IMO web or anonymous FTP site across the
  internet
• resource consumption no free lunch
• XML file is roughly half the size of the
  corresponding HTML file, saves 50 of disk space
• note that XSL file is roughly same as the HTML
  file, so with XML file, consumes 50 more network
  bandwidth (proxy servers save internet bandwidth
  so this is often a LAN issue only)
