Preparations
  • To apply, open the web site www.ciriusonline.dk/no
    rdbuk
  • Choose preferred language
  • Check that your project is according to the
    guidelines found at (English version)
    http//www.ciriusonline.dk/Default.aspx?ID303
  • At the bottom of the page, choose to open the
    online application form

Creating an application
  • Log onto the application site by your email and
    password if you have such, or
  • Create a new user by clicking New user at the
    bottom of the page
  • Click the Create new application button to open
    the online application form

Filling in the application
  • Responsible organization write full name not
    only the abbreviation
  • Responsible person a person has to be
    responsible for the completion of the project
  • The address and contact information required is
    that of the applying organization or group

Filling in the application
  • Fill in the name and period of duration for your
    project
  • For the project description and Nordic dimension,
    you should edit this in a text file, e.g. MS
    Word, and then paste it into the application form

  • You should remember to include the following
    parts in your description
  • The purpose of your project why do you want to
    do this?
  • The contents of your project what do you want
    to do?
  • A time table when do you want to do what?

    participants supposed to get out of your project?
  • The outcome what are the results of your
    project?
  • Split up your description into smaller parts, for
    instance use the headlines above

Nordic dimension
  • Describe how this project contributes to the
    Nordic community
  • Why is the Nordic countries the relevant scene of
    this project?
  • What makes the project interesting in a Nordic
    perspective?

Partner organizations
  • Which organizations take part in this project?
  • Fill in for all organizations, also your own!
  • Remember to write full names
  • Choose which country each organization represent
    you need two or three countries
  • Estimate number of youth participants
  • Repeat the process for each organization

Budget - expenses
  • The currency needed is Danish crowns. You may
    need to convert the budget into DKK from your
    local currency.
  • All expenses needed must be included.
  • Salaries and wages cannot be included.
  • Fees for experts and technical help is allowed.
  • Make sure to add explanatory comments.

Budget - financing
  • How is the project financed? The whole project
    should not be paid by NORDBUK.
  • Own financing With what do the partners
    contribute economically to the project?
  • Getting grants from other parties will send a
    signal to the NORDBUK of the viability of the
    project.
  • Make sure to add explanatory comments.

Submitting
  • When you are done, press the Check and submit
    button.
  • This locks the application, and you cannot edit
    it any more.
  • If you need more time to edit your application,
    you may Save project draft and log on later for
    more editing.

What happens next?
  • CIRIUS receives the application for evaluation
    and grading
  • Either you get grants you may be asked to do
    some changes and try again to the next deadline
    or you dont get grants.
  • The NORDBUK gets an overview by mail

What happens next?
  • All applicants are notified on the status of
    their application
  • Project runs (at the earliest starting two months
    after the application deadline), 85 of grant
    paid
  • Reporting to CIRIUS
  • The remaining 15 of the grant paid out if the
    report is satisfactory
