Kidney stones (also known as renal calculi,
nephrolithiasis, or urolithiasis) are hard
deposits of minerals and salts that develop
inside the kidneys.
Kidney stones are classified into four types
1.calcium oxalate 2.uric acid 3. struvite
4.cystine.

• Previous occurrences of a kidney stone
• Instances of family members having a kidney stone
• Inadequate water consumption
• Consumption of a high-sodium, high-protein,
  and/or high-sugar diet
• Obesity or being overweight
• Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) or another cystic
  kidney condition
• Having a gastric bypass or other intestinal
  procedures
• Conditions causing irritation or swelling in the
  bowel or the joints
