After a long wait of 3 years, Royal Enfield
Himalayan Odyssey will return in 2022 and head
for Umling La in July. The objective will be
"Zero Plastic Waste" and focus on environmental
friendliness.
Highlights of RE Himalayan Odyssey 2022

• The group of 70 riders will be divided into two
  groups on their way from Delhi to Leh which will
  follow different routes to reach their designated
  destination.
• Royal Enfield Himalayan Odyssey will focus on
  eco-friendliness through a 'single-use-plastic'
  ride.
• Himalayan Odyssey 2022 will tour Umling La, the
  world's highest-altitude motorable road
  (elevation of 5,798.251 m).
• The event will start on 2nd July and end on 18th
  July 2022.
• Royal Enfield motorcycles will cover a distance
  of 2,700 km in 18 days.

Royal Enfield has revealed the Himalayan Odyssey
2022 dates. With over 70 riders traversing the
majestic Himalayan terrain on Royal Enfield
motorcycles, covering a distance of nearly 2,700
km in 18 days.
This campaign will run from July 2 to July 18,
2022. The 70 riders will be divided into two
groups and will ride on two different routes. The
campaign will begin in Delhi and end in Leh for
both sides, with one conquering the mountains of
Ladakh and the other traveling through Spiti. A
visit to the Umling La Pass, which is 19,024 feet
above sea level, is one of the primary
attractions of the expedition.
The company also said that this edition of
Himalayan Odyssey will continue to raise
awareness about eco-friendliness, in order to
reduce the impact of the Himalayas on the
delicate ecosystem of the environment. These days
the number of tourists visiting the Himalayas and
leaving this beautiful region in disarray is

Royal Enfield's Focus On Reducing Waste
Royal Enfield aims to use zero "single-use
plastic" on this tour this year by promoting
safe, eco-friendly, and responsible travel
practices. The bike maker had installed six pure
water stations along the route of the previous
Himalayan Odyssey, which happened in 2019 to curb
plastic waste in the form of used water bottles.
The initiative was promoted under the hashtag
LeaveEveryPlaceBetter and is expected to happen
again this year.
