Title: What Are the Advantages of Stem Cell Therapy? | Dr. David Greene Arizona

1
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF STEM CELL THERAPY?
Dr. David Greene Arizona
2
Stem cell treatment has evolved significantly in
the past decade. Not only are stem cell
treatments some of the safest you can receive,
but they can now resolve a great number of issues
that were previously untreatable. You can replace
surgical options and recover faster, all while
avoiding the ethical issues that plagued the
therapy method in years past
3
SAFE AUTOLOGOUS THERAPY
Surgical procedures by their nature are
destructive. Tissue must be lost in order to
achieve a successful result. Stem cells, on the
other hand, are regenerative.Surgery is rife with
complications, as many victims of malpractice can
attest. In addition, there is a risk of
infection, and if the procedure fails, additional
surgery may be required. Risks associated with
anesthesia are also removed with stem cells
4
SEVERITY OF INJURY
If you are looking into stem cells as a way to
treat an injury, understand that the severity of
the injury will have an impact on the
effectiveness of the treatment. For example, if
youve suffered an ACL tear, a partial tear will
naturally be easier to repair with stem cells
than a complete tear
5
AGING
Stem cells promote healing in two ways. First,
they themselves can transform into other types of
cells, thus creating brand new healthy cells.
Second, they tell healthy cells to multiply and
create additional ones.
6
AUTOIMMUNE DISEASES
Autoimmune diseases occur when the bodys immune
system mistakes its own tissues for invaders and
attacks them. Stem cells, including ASCs, are
capable of regulating the immune systems
response. They can reduce the inflammation caused
by immune system cells and reduce chronic pain
and the severity of symptoms
7
NEURODEGENERATIVE DISEASES
Neurodegenerative diseases remain the most
difficult conditions to treat. There are no known
cures for these rare and debilitating disorders.
Neurons decay in the brain and the rest of the
nervous system when patients suffer from these
conditions. However, research has shown that stem
cells can regenerate neurons. Theres hope that
with stem cells, patients can slow down or even
reverse the damage done by these diseases
