Intervention

• Each patient received 400ml ABO-compatible
  convalescent plasma on the same day it was
  obtained from the doner by apheresis
• Day 10-22 after admission

Results

• Viral load declined dramatically
• Clinical condition improved in a week
• Reduction in body temperature
• Improved PAO2/FIO2
• Chest CT scans improved
• 4/5 patients on mechanical ventilation and ECMO
  could be weaned from respiratory support by 9
  days after transfusion
