Head and Neck Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
2022
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Head Magnetic
resonance imaging (MRI) of the head uses a
magnetic field, radio waves, and a computer to
produce images of the brain and other cranial
structures that are clearer and more detailed
than other imagination.

These tests do not use ionizing radiation and may
require an injection of a different substance
called gadolinium, which is more likely to cause
allergic reactions than iodine-containing
substances. Tell your doctor about any health
problems, recent surgeries or allergies, and
possible pregnancy. The magnetic field is not
dangerous, but it can cause some medical
equipment to malfunction. MRI scan centre in
Delhi provides guidelines for eating and drinking
before your test varies between resources. Unless
you have been told otherwise, take your usual
medication as usual. Leave the jewellery at home
and wear loose, comfortable clothing. You may be
asked to wear a dress. If you have claustrophobia
or anxiety, you may want to ask your doctor to
give you a small sedative before the test.

MRI For Neck (Cervical Spine MRI) Magnetic
resonance imaging (MRI) of the cervical spine is
a safe and painless test that uses a magnetic
field and radio waves to produce detailed images
of the cervical spine (bones behind the
neck). MRI is different from CAT scan (also
called CT scan or computed axial tomography scan)
because it does not use radiation. The MRI scan
consists of a large donut-shaped magnet with a
tunnel in the center. Patients are placed on a
slippery table. MRI scans are available at
hospitals and radiology centers. During testing
in the best MRI scan centre in Delhi, radio waves
control the magnetic field of the body's atoms,
which are picked up by a powerful stick and sent
to a computer. The computer performs millions of
calculations, resulting in clear, subtle black
and white images of the body. This helps to
identify problems in the cervical spine where the
scan is concentrated in that area.
