Learn How to Troubleshoot Queued Email Issue in
Gmail
If you used to send and receive emails in bulk,
you must know the concept called Queued
Email. But sometimes, instances occur when your
emails went to the Outbox folder rather than the
destination and showed some queued error message.
If you also find that your sent emails are
sitting in your outbox, Gmail will make a
reattempt to send them later. But if it does not,
you need to take some immediate action to solve
this issue. If you need to troubleshoot and want
to know how to fix queued email in Gmail, then
you are in the right place. Here you will find
some simple techniques to solve this issue
effectively.
  • Steps to Troubleshoot Queued Email in Gmail
  • There are several reasons your email gets queued,
like low storage of your device, the threshold
limit is achieved, or there may be server issues.
So, now lets move ahead to solve the problem of
    queued emails in Gmail.
  • 1. Clear App's Cache
  • First, move to the phone Settings.

2
  • From there, navigate to the 'Application Manager'
and from there select the Gmail app.
  • When it opens, you will see the option of 'Clear
cache and Clear data' at the bottom.
  • Tap on both buttons to optimize your Gmail app.
  • 2. Try Enable and Disable Gmail Sync
  • First, locate the Gmail app Settings.
  • Now, click on the 'Accounts' tab.
  • Then, choose the 'Google Account.'
  • Now, select that Gmail account you have been
    having issues with.
  • Then, tap on the 'Uncheck email' option.
  • After doing the above steps, restart your phone.
  • After restarting, you need to recheck or enable
the checkbox that was marked unchecked again.
  • 3. Force Stop Gmail
  • If you have not given a fresh start to your phone
for long, then try to force stop the Gmail app
to solve Gmail queued email not sending issues.
To do so, first, go to the phone 'Settings.'
  • Now, move to the 'Apps' option.
  • In apps, find and tap Gmail.
  • Now, tap on the 'Force Stop' option and start the
    Gmail app again.
