matter if you're a novice or a veteran, there's
always a trail for you! Whether you like downhill
or cross country biking, we've got some great
suggestions on where to go and what to do on your
next adventure.
3Palmer Park
- Located just outside Denver, this park offers
miles of easy to moderate singletrack trails over
730 acres. It is perfect for the novice looking
to get into the sport or an experienced rider
with a few extra tricks up their sleeves!
4Fountain Creek Regional Trail
- This 26-mile loop has something really special a
10-mile road section that is closed to cars and
open only for cyclists and pedestrians! You can
start at any point on the loop, but the best bet
is to start at Colorado Blvd and Uintah St.
5Royal Gorge
- This area is home to some of the best mountain
biking Colorado has to offer! It's known as a
playground for various riders, from beginners to
experts, because it offers trails that range from
easy to extreme difficulty!
6Colorado Trail (Waterton Canyon Section)
- The Waterton Canyon section of Colorado Trail
features 12 miles of multi-use non-motorized
trail open for hiking, biking, and horseback
riding all year long. Starting from the Waterton
Canyon parking lot, the route offers a variety of
trails for all levels of riders.
7Apex Park
- Located just outside of Castle Rock, this park is
great for those looking to get out and explore!
There are seven total miles and two different
loops one easy and one with more difficulty!
8Colorado is a state that will not disappoint when
it comes to biking. There are plenty of trails
and areas you can go mountain biking in just
take your pick! In our humble opinion... The
best time of year to start this activity is from
May through September, as the weather conditions
are ideal during this time for biking.
