About Air Force X Y Group
The Indian Air Force is recruiting airmen
for Group X Y. The Group X is for the
candidates having a technical qualification, that
who have completed their 102 with Science and
Maths or Diploma holders. While Group Y is for
candidates having a non-technical qualification.

Air Force Y Group Education Qualification
Must have passed Higher Secondary (102)
Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects
approved by Central / State Education Boards
listed as COBSE members with minimum 50 marks in
aggregate and 50 marks in English.

Air Force X Group Education Qualification
Passed Intermediate / 102 / equivalent
examination with Mathematics, Physics and English
with minimum 50 marks in aggregate and 50 marks
in English.

Age Limit
Only the candidates born between 16 Jan 2001 and
29 Dec 2004 are eligible to apply for Indian Air
Force Group X Y 2021 recruitment. In some cases,
where a candidate clearing all the selection
stages, the upper age limit as of the date of
enrolment is 21 years

Air Force X Y Group Physical Standard
Air Force Airmen Recruitment in Group X and Y as
under. ... (b) 2.4 KM and 5 KM Race 2400
meter/5000-meter run is required to be completed
within 15 minutes and 30 seconds for candidates
of IAF Security Trades Recruitment.

Air Force Y Group Physical Standard
Group 'Y' (Non-Technical) Auto Tech and IAF (P)
Trades. Physical Fitness Test (PFT). PFT
consists of a 1.6 Km run to be completed within 6
minutes 30 seconds. Candidates shall also have to
complete 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups and 20 squats
within the stipulated time to qualify in the
Physical Fitness Test.
