What is an Endoscopy?
An endoscopic exam involves inserting a tube into
the patient's esophagus so that it can be
examined closely and a biopsy of pieces of tissue
can be taken. Usually endoscopy is performed
after the patient is sedated.

There are no clear guidelines for a specific age

How Often Should Patients Have An Endoscopy?

tissue biopsy to determine if there is cancer. By
