ExtraMovies The best website to
download latest movies
  • Clay (Rik Swartzwelder) runs an antique store in
a small town. Smart and friendly, sober and
unique. And he seems to be the only one in his
circle of friends who doesn't mind that everyone
else is always trying to screw him over. You can
download this movie from extramovies for free. It
encourages us to respect others and ourselves in
our search, not to move into the sudden, slippery
territory, but to hold on to what's important to
us and what's still important even after the
    storm has passed.

A beautiful traveling girl whose interest cannot
be ignored
But Clay's dark past is full of connections, and
now that she's turned her back on that lifestyle,
she's starting to think she's doomed to be alone
forever. Who wants someone with so many skeletons
in their closet to remember? When she rents the
apartment above her store to Amber (Elizabeth Ann
Roberts), a pretty traveling girl whose interest
can't be ignored, miraculous things start to
happen.

4
I wanted to see a modern classic company
  • Clay has a theory she's been working on for nine
years that consists of many ideas and even more
statistics, but the core of the theory is this
society's view of dating and relationships is
wrong. He's tried extreme methods and experienced
nothing but unhappiness, so now he wants to try
the opposite what you might call "traditional"
or "old school" dating. Even if I wanted to see a
modern classic courtship, it wouldn't be a good
    movie.

5
The film manages to entertain as well as inform
  • The filmmakers knew and Clay understood that
every relationship is different and that even the
best-laid plans can fail because they are not
universal. Clay's idea and the idea of the film
is the search for a life partner with no end in
sight, and I think the film executes that well.
It encourages us to respect others and ourselves
in our search, not to move into the sudden,
slippery territory, but to hold on to what's
important to us and what's still important even
    after the storm has passed.

6
The film is also visually beautiful which is also
unusual
  • The Old Fashioned is a Christian film, which
means it has a clear Christian message, but it's
not overly moralistic, which is one of the things
I hate about mainstream "Christian" films. It
stays real, has real and flawed characters, and
doesn't shy away from the darker, more mature
themes that the film's plot should focus on,
which I appreciate. The film is also visually
beautiful, which is also unusual for this type of
    film.

7
The old-fashioned way somestimes works as a book
  • A film is an art form, and when you make a film,
for whatever purpose, you have to do it
artistically. Otherwise, it would be like sitting
down and painting a beautiful scene on the
screen, but instead of painting a picture, you
would write on the screen and describe the scene
in detail. Many Christian movies are made just to
boost ratings when they shouldn't be playing at
all. The old-fashioned method sometimes works
like a book, the moral jumps out of the screen as
if it came right out of the pages, but when it
doesn't, I think it's because of the artistic
level. This was mainly reflected in the shooting
style, which was often excellent and with
    interesting symbolism.

I have to give credit to Schwarzschild
  • The script was probably the biggest minus, and
the acting was somewhere in between. The
supporting actors were also good - all were
convincing and comfortable, and I was
particularly impressed with Tyler Hollinger. The
main character is the most problematic, but
that's probably just because he was the main
character and the character, which is quite
complex, was too much for him. However, I
wouldn't say he was terrible. I have to give
Schwarzwalder credit for being the lead actor,
writer, and director he had a lot of work to do
and he did it all very well.

9
The film was easy and engaging
  • Now, the best acting was by the lead actress. Her
character had fewer curves and complexity, but it
was so easy and natural, and the film was easy
and engaging. As a romantic drama, it was not
what I expected. I prefer comedies, and a few
more laughs would have been very welcome and
necessary if this film had become Sarah's
favorite. Download and watch your favorite movies
from moviesverse at any time. But it wasn't made
just for my enjoyment, and even if it's not my
movie, I can certainly appreciate it for what it
    is.

10
Love endures everything, believes in everything,
hopes for everything
  • Putting aside my initial expectations, I found
this to be a moving and heartfelt drama that
focuses on something bigger and deeper than
tangible romance things that many films and, I
fear, people may not even realize. Love is
patient and kind love is not jealous and proud
it is not arrogant and rude. It does not insist
on its way it is not irritable or resentful it
rejoices not in injustice but truth. Love bears
all things believes all things hopes all things,
endures all things, and bears all things.
