Work Experience
From 2016 to 2019, Dr. Al Rogers served as Deputy
Superintendent of the Sacramento County Office of
Education, which includes 13 school districts and
over 240,000 PreK to 12th grade students.

Chief Strategy Officer
While working as chief strategy officer for the
Sacramento City Unified School District, Al
Rogers was responsible for data reporting,
assessment, research and evaluation. He
incorporated his passion for learning into his
work, helping raise graduation rates to a high of
88. Al Rogers also encouraged a reduction in
both suspensions and expulsions.
