WHAT IS PUBLIC SPEAKING?
Public speaking is the art of addressing the live
public vocally through your speech. It is more a
formal chit-chat where one speaker and a group of
listeners interact face-to-face. It is very
obvious to have a fear of indirectly speaking to
the public. So before you step onto the stage or
podium, make sure that you are well prepared for
the session you are supposed to take. Also, you

will mention. The next step is drafting, where
you assemble all the raw information and data you

practice and eventually to speak.

smart and confident so that you can achieve the
active participation of the audience. Public
speaking is not rocket science which is
impossible, but it requires a lot of practice and
dedication. To build your confidence, speak more
and more to the unknown people, to yourself, with
the mirror and another person, no matter what the
topic is. This will make you impromptu and
improve your coordination between your vocals and
your brain so that you use the correct vocabulary
and grammar during your speaking session.

The most important fact that you should keep in
mind while public speaking is to never tell your
audience that you have made a mistake, i.e.,
never correct a mistake if done, just move on.
Holding your confidence when you are wrong is the
most difficult thing to achieve, as your audience
didnt know about your written speech. They are
just listening to you, and they will not even
mention unless you emphasize the mistake through
some gesture or apology. Try to look at your
audience so that it creates a warm connection,
but never look into the eyes of a particular
person sitting in the audience otherwise, you
will fumble, panic, or get nervous because your
brain will distract and you will lose your focus.
Public speaking is all a mind play, playing with
the minds of the public through your thoughts.
