    get the necessary protein for the body. Protein
    is the building block of the body and is made of

    from the diet or supplement. Though protein
    shakes are considered as supplements and wont
    harm you.

Below are some of the downsides of them
  • If you have the protein powder with milk, then
    you will put on weight. It can be also tough to
    digest since milk has a lot of fats and carbs. 
  • There are many fake products in the market. They
    contain fillers, steroids, sugar, hormones, etc.
    They are not healthy and can cause side effects.
    Always buy from authentic dealers and check the
    seal or hologram. You can also check the site for
    the barcode. 
  • If you have protein in excess, it can lead to
    protein toxicity. Check with your nutritionist
    regarding your protein powder needs. This helps
    you take the right quantity of protein. 
  • Some protein powders can cause digestive problems
    like bloating, heaviness, indigestion, and other
    issues. People will lactose intolerance should
    avoid whey proteins and those with soya allergy
    should avoid any product containing it.
