World UFO Day What is Roswell Incident ,
History and Goal
  • World UFO Day 2021
  • World UFO Day is a day dedicated to the existence
of Unidentified Flying Objects, according to the
    World UFO Day Organization (WUFODO).
  • UFOs are generally believed to be swanky
    spaceships carrying extraterrestrial visitors to
Earth. Scientists have been able to explain the
majority of UFO sightings. Even now, UFOs remain
a major source of conspiracy theories around the
    world.
  • According to the website of NASA, In orbit, no
astronaut has ever seen a UFO. On the one hand,
not everything they saw was quickly identified,
but there is no evidence that anyone saw an alien
    spaceship.
  • Its goal is to create public knowledge regarding
the presence of UFOs and, with them, intelligent
beings from outer space, and to encourage people
to consider the notion that we are not alone in
    the Universe.
  • There are numerous festivities, but according to
WUFODO, people are encouraged to gaze up into the
sky and try to spot UFOs on this occasion.
  • The most essential thing is that people open
their minds to the subject for one day and send
out the word that UFOs are welcome on this
    planet, they say.

World UFO Day What is Roswell Incident ,
History and Goal
  • Previously, this celebration was held on June 24,
    the anniversary of pilot Kenneth
Arnolds sighting of nine odd objects flying over
    Washington state.
  • The UFOs were reported by Arnold as saucer-like
or a large flat disc. This description
    influenced peoples perceptions about UFOs.
  • WUFODO, on the other hand, chose July 2 as the
date to encourage people to celebrate in big
groups on one day rather than in small groups on
    two days.
  • It marks the anniversary of the public disclosure
    of the infamous Roswell incident.
  • After the Roswell incident, conspiracy theories
concerning UFOs began to emerge. A US Army Air
Forces balloon crashed near Roswell, New Mexico,
in July 1947. This sparked a flurry of discussion
regarding the flying disc that had crashed. It
was later revealed to be a weather balloon from
the US military. This occurrence sparked a slew
    of conspiracy theories.
  • Everyone has heard the term unidentified flying
object, or UFO, which was coined by the United
States Air Force in 1953. UFOs were commonly
referred to as flying saucers or flying discs
in the late 1940s and early 1950s. Many people
nowadays believe that we are not alone in the
cosmos and that extraterrestrial life exists that
    did not start on Earth.

World UFO Day What is Roswell Incident ,
History and Goal
  • When it was reported in the summer of 1947 that
an alien spacecraft had crash-landed in Roswell,
New Mexico, the excitement over UFOs landing on
Earth grew even more. When the US government
tried to hide it by claiming it was just a
regular weather balloon, speculation began to
    grow.

tried to hide it by claiming it was just a

    grow.
  • The 1947 incident has got a lot of attention over
the years, and those who truly believe an alien
spacecraft crashed at Roswell have been keeping
watch ever since. Because of the widespread
interest in UFOs, the World UFO Day Organisation
(WUFODO) organised a World UFO Day in 2001 to
bring together believers and the evidence they
have accumulated to back their claims.
