Warm Up
Doing a proper warm up before you exercise helps
in preparing your body for the exercise. It
prepares your cardiovascular system for the
increased activity that is coming up by
increasing the blood flow to muscles and
increasing the body temperature. It also helps in
reducing the soreness that you feel in muscles
after a physical activity.

Do not jump to hard-core
If you are just starting our on your journey of
exercising, then it is important that you plan
how you are going to exercise. As a beginner,
start with simple techniques and simple exercises
to just get your body moving and used to the idea
of exercising. Do not jump to carry heavy weights
or to train too hard for it can cause injuries
like ligament tear, fractures or muscle pulls.

Keeping pain relief handy
While we might have immense confidence in our
workout, but it is always a good idea to keep at
least a fast relief gel handy in case your have a
muscle pull or experience a sudden pain in any of
the muscles. If not a gel, keep a pain relief
spray for fast action. You get these in small
sizes so that they are easy to carry around.

Listen to your body
  • We all want to be able to exercise like an expert
    and at times tend to push our limits more than it
    is necessary. But do not do that. Watch out for
    the cues that your body is giving you. Stop
    immediately or take a break if you start to feel
    dizzy or fatigued. This applies to not just while
    exercising, but also later in the day. If you
    feel the kind of exercise you are doing is
    leaving you feeling very fatigued, then watch out
    for those signs.

Cool off
  • This is something that a lot of people tend to
    ignore or forget. Cooling down helps to gradually
    recover to the pre-exercise heart rate and the
    blood pressure too. It helps to cool muscles as
    well. If you experience some kind of back pain
    then go for a back pain gel for the same too.
    Cooling down exercises also help in regulating
    blood flow in the body.
